Energy AuditsOur Energy Audits with EnergyScore™ are the best way to evaluate the energy performance and identify energy losses of a property. Typically a full onsite energy audit will save 20% in energy costs and pay for itself thru energy savings and enhanced comfort. We are BPI (Building Performance Institute) certified as Building Analysts and Building Envelope Professionals. We offer two types of Energy Audits; Online & Onsite in the northeast US. Onsite Energy AuditsOur Onsite Energy Audits are comprehensive including an EnergyScore™, Blower Door air leakage testing, Thermographic Imaging, Combustion and Gas Leakage testing. These audits include evaluation the Building Envelope, Insulation, Water and Water Heating systems, Heating & Air Conditioning Systems, Lighting, and Appliances. We offer audits in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland and work with all those state's programs. We anticipate working with the Home Star program as well when it is implemented later this year. Audits are preformed by a seasoned professional with decades of construction experience and include a written report identifying and prioritizing the repairs or improvements that need to be done to improve the properties energy efficiency. Online Energy AuditsWe offer two types of Online Energy Audits; a Free QuickScore Energy Audit & substantially more comprehensive EnergyScore Online Audit. The Free QuickScore Energy Audit is a basic yet Free online Energy Audit that will evaluate information and determine energy consumption. This energy consumption and building efficiency are then compared to building of similar size, location and occupancy. Although free, quick and easy it will only provide relative information on how your property compares to others. For 1/10th of the cost of an onsite audit we offer a comprehensive EnergyScore™ Online Audit includes all the relative information of a QuickScore and also includes an analysis of the building systems, instant potential savings and an EnergyScore. That analysis will evaluate many areas of energy consumption and loss including the Building Envelope, Insulation, Water and Water Heating systems, Heating & Air conditioning Systems, Lighting, and Appliances. Energy ConsultingEnergyScore also provides Sustainable Construction consulting aiding general contractors, construction managers, design teams, building owners and tenants in the management of their Green Construction projects. Our assistance could be standard construction management; the planning, organizing and managing of resources toward the successful completion of the project’s goals.
